AppDog
In order for AppDog to track the completion of offers on your Apple mobile device, we need to get your device's unique ID--its "UDID" in tech-speak. For folks that have trouble with our standard process for acquiring your device's UDID, we have an alternative. If you got the message "Safari cannot download this file", you are in the right place! Just follow the steps below. The whole thing should only take about 5 minutes.
Get Your Device's UDID
  • From your PC, navigate to http://whatsmyudid.com/.
  • This site provides dead-simple instructions for getting your device's UDID.
  • Having trouble with this step? Read this hint: You might not see your device's UDID in iTunes. Maybe you just see its serial number. If this is the case, click on the serial number. Doing so will toggle between the serial number and the UDID.
Email the UDID to Your Device
  • Once you find your UDID in iTunes, copy it to the clipboard (ctrl-c on PCs, command-c on Macs).
  • Email the text below to an account accessible from your device. Make sure to replace "[PASTE MY UDID HERE]" with your actual UDID.

My UDID: [PASTE MY UDID HERE]
